เราชาวพุทธต้องช่วยกันยอยกพระพุทธศาสนา
หลวงพ่อคิดว่า พวกเราก็คงมีจิตใจเช่นเดียวกับหลวงพ่อ คือ อยากจะเห็นพระพุทธศาสนาเจริญรุ่งเรือง เรามาเกิดในยุคนี้ ที่มีพระพุทธศาสนาเป็นศาสนาประจำชาติ และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อเราและโลกนี้ เราจะให้มันถล่มทลายในยุคของเราหาควรไม่

พระพุทธศาสนาจะต้องเฟื่องฟูที่สุด
เหมือนย้อนยุคพุทธกาล
หลวงพ่อมีความคิดว่า อะไรก็ตามที่มีบันทึกในพระไตรปิฎก จะต้องเป็นสิ่งที่พิสูจน์และสามารถยืนยันได้ว่า “มีจริง” ในยุคปัจจุบันของพวกเรานี่แหละ
อย่างเช่น ในพระไตรปิฏกมีการบันทึกว่า มีการเลี้ยงพระแสนองค์ เรียกว่า ผ่านกันมาเป็นพันปี ไม่ค่อยจะเชื่อกันเลย มันจะเป็นไปได้อย่างไร แล้วเราได้พิสูจน์แล้วว่า มีจริง แล้วก็ดีจริง สามารถทำได้ ถวายจีวรแสนผืน ถวายหยูกยา เราก็ได้ทำแล้วในยุคของเรา ก่อนหน้ายุคของเราก็ไม่มีนะ อย่างนี้จะเรียกว่า เรามีบุญมาก ๆ ทีเดียว
เพราะฉะนั้น แทนที่จะดูว่า พระพุทธศาสนาเรียวลง เราก็จะต้องพยายามทำพระพุทธศาสนาให้เฟื่องฟูยิ่งขึ้นไปเลย เวลาเราเดินทางออกจากร่างกาย ไปสู่สุคติ เราจะได้ปลื้มปีติใจว่า เราได้ใช้ร่างกายและทรัพยากรที่เรามีอยู่นี้ ได้ช่วยกันยกยอพระพุทธศาสนา เวลาชาวสวรรค์ถาม เราจะได้ตอบเขาด้วยความปีติภาคภูมิใจว่า ได้ช่วยยอยกพระพุทธศาสนาให้สูงเด่นยิ่งขึ้นไปเรื่อย ๆ รัศมีกายของเราก็จะได้สว่างโพลงไปเรื่อย ๆ ชาวสวรรค์เขาจะได้อนุโมทนาสาธุการ…
